While other members of the Tennessee House of Representatives opted to crack down on the nationwide problem of human trafficking by introducing the death penalty for child rapists, radical liberals sought to make sure that adults can continue engaging in sexual activity with children virtually without consequence. Worthy of note is the fact that every pro-abortion Democrat voted against the measure there - and, analogously, every vote against the measure was indeed from Democrats - with Rep. Aftyn Behn (D), who boasts an endorsement from Planned Parenthood, calling it "incompatible with the right to life."
